Ape Caves, Mt St. Helens

Five of us from the Seattle hiking group drove down to Mount St. Helens to explore the Ape Caves, a 2 mile long lava tube formed during the eruption 2,000 years ago. We also checked out the Trail of Two Forests, where you can crawl through hollowed out molds of fallen trees that were covered by the lava flow.
